Das Abendprogramm war sehr schwach und sehr langweilig. Für Rentner geeignet! Bingoabend am Freitrag und Kinderdisco am Samstag ein absolutes No-GO. Ein Abend mit Live-Band und Dinner am Pool war sehr schön.

Nice place if you looking to stay on the beach.

Beach villa rooms are the rooms on the property as they are situated on the beach. These rooms are modern and comfortable.

The pool area is basic, needs upgrading. If you book the beach villa then you will have to walk quite a distance to the restaurant as it is based at the entrance of the lodge and the beach villa is based in the beach.

What was the highlight of Diamonds Mapenzi Beach

We enjoyed our time but certain things need improvement to justify the price.

We enjoyed our time at the Diamonds Mapenzi Beach Hotel, especially due to the beautiful location of our bungalow with a sea view, as well as the very friendly staff, who offered us coconuts and was always eager to help. The breakfast every morning was great and included a wide variety of options. Coffee was amazing. The bungalow offered a lot of space and we had some privacy on our porch and just in front of the bungalow. WiFi was very good.

We booked relatively last minute and might therefore have overpaid- unfortunately we therefore had higher expectations of the overall room, service as well as location, that were not met. Some of the fixtures of the room were outdated, water pressure was bad, and due to heavy rain we had one night a massive amount of flies and ants getting into the room despite closed windows. Electricity cuts were frequent. While we loved the friendliness of the staff, responsiveness was at times very delayed, specificity when we need someone urgently to come by and assist with the ant invasion (we waited 1.5 hours). We did not book all inclusive and therefore frequented the beach side restaurant almost every night, also due to a lack of alternatives nearby. Unfortunately the food selection was always very limited, and we often had to wait close to an hour for our food (both at lunch and dinner time). The staff was incredibly apologetic which we appreciated; but it would have been nice to have higher quality food and service in that restaurant. It is also worth mentioning that, while beautifully located with amazing views of the beach, the bungalows are not directly on the beach, which is slightly below the level the bungalows are located.

„Eine paradiesische Unterkunft am Traumstrand!

Eine paradiesische Unterkunft am Traumstrand, toll geführt vom immer präsenten Hotelleiter, herzlich und unaufdringlich animiert von den Sportleuten und super bedient vom vergleichsweise erstaunlich professionellen Service-Team. Und die Barkeeper, wow... Zur Hauptstadt sind es ca. 45 Autominuten, zum nächsten Dorf und einigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten, also auch super!

The facility is good, but I wish what happened to us should never happen to any other guest.

The main restaurant served breakfast well with great staff, was very supportive and catered to my family's needs in arranging breakfast for room delivery.

The staff in the reception disappointed us greatly with a major blunder in an important event (anniversary) that we requested to be prepared by simply ignoring our request due to negligence despite confirming to us that all would be arranged only to find nothing ready in the last minute. That was a major disappointment and a total failure.

Wonderful

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is clean and has a great atmosphere. Service was very good. We had the option of all inclusive and drinks n food was available at all times.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it but would like to suggest a buffet of lunch n dinner I should have more choice especially for non seafood l9vers

„Toller Aufenthalt mit kleinen Makeln

- Wir hatten die Strandvillen gebucht gehabt - Abends wurde immer das Moskitonetz von den Mitarbeitern aufgebaut/hergerichtet - Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des Personals - Die Kellner an der Bar haben die Getränke an die Tische gebracht - Es gab ein Pool- und Stranddinner als Abwechslung zum Restaurantbesuch - Möglichkeit wenn man ausgecheckt hat, zum Duschen -> wir bekamen ein frisches Zimmer gestellt - Es gibt einen kleinen Souvenirshop im Hotel - Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich

- Kein Bankautomat im Hotel - Transfer kostet 78 USD pro Strecke. Während das Taxi 55-60 USD pro Strecke kostet! - Snacks auf dem Zimmer bei der Ankunft werden wie ein vollwertiges Abendessen gerechnet und am Abreisetag erhält man dann kein Abendessen mehr (falls man solange im Hotel ist) - Am Strand wimmelt es von Verkäufern die einem ständig irgendwelche Touren andrehen möchten -> ultra nervig weil man nicht in Ruhe ins Wasser kann :( am Strand kann man nicht liegen! - Ebbe und Flut beachten (teilweise war das Meer erst nach dem Mittagessen "da")

„Netter Aufenthalt an sich, aber haben uns um ca. 500€ betrogen bisher.

An sich war alles sehr nett dort, verschiedene Themenabende und gute Auswahl an Essen.

Das Hotel hatte Anfangs unsere Buchung doppelt abgebucht und als ich das angebracht hatte, bekam ich nach 3 Monaten eine Rückmeldung, dass wir das zu viel gezahlte Geld zurückbekommen würden. Nach mehrmaligen hin- und herschreiben und auch einem persönlichen Gespräch mit dem Kreditcontroller vor Ort, wo uns wieder versichert wurde, dass wir unser Geld zurückbekommen, ist jetzt nach 8 Monaten insgesamt immer noch nichts passiert. Ich würde das Hotel was so etwas angeht absolut nicht weiterempfehlen.
